We now welcome your best friend (canine) to join you at our premises.

Our fences and smallish yard are NOT sufficient for large or very active dogs, or those who dig but I am sure, for those dogs who are members of the family they will be adequate.

We have access to the beach which is a wonderful experience for any dog, but there are time restrictions over the summer season (listed below).

There is also a reserve very close by, really good for a short walk around the block. Over on Aslings beach is an off leash area.
National Parks do NOT allow dogs.

Vaccinations:
The health and safety of our guests and their dogs is very important to us, so we request each visiting dog be wormed and on flea and tick treatment. We also recommend that dogs be vaccinated against parvo (which can be fatal to young dogs) as it can be contracted from public places such as parks. We request these things to keep our property free from worms, parvo and fleas. We recommend that you check your dog/s for ticks during your stay and again after you return home.

What to bring:

• Dog lead
• A dog water bowl and plate for each dog
• Dog food
• Dog bed, bedding, blanket for cold nights & some old towels for wet dogs.
• Toys, ball, kong etc. for playtime
• Some plastic bags to clean up your doggy doo’s.

Sleeping arrangements:
Dogs may sleep inside the apartment on their OWN bed (but not on lounges or beds provided for humans).

House Rules for the dog carers/owners:

• Please do not allow your dog to sit on the lounge, furniture or beds;
• Please do not leave your dog inside the apartment when you go out;
• Please do not leave your dog alone at the apartment for hours on end – especially if it’s a puppy (under 2 years old) as they may suffer separation anxiety in a new location. This could result in them scratching at doors, chewing furniture, or trying to escape. We regret to advise that any damage caused by pets requiring an item to be replaced, repaired, or professionally cleaned, will need to be paid for by the owners. Damage to the apartment is not included in the tariff.
